Rewarded ads are currently unavailable — LingoRove 1.0.0
Google has temporarily disabled ad serving for LingoRove. The option to watch an ad for temporary Full Access is currently unavailable.
You can continue learning with the free Starter Pack, or use a subscription for Full Access. Existing subscriptions are unaffected.
Retrying the ad or reinstalling the app will not resolve this ad-serving suspension. For help, email support@lingorove.org.
Version 1.0.0 still includes Google’s advertising SDK despite the suspension. It may collect identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions and technical measurements even when optional diagnostics are off. Where available, use Advertising Privacy Choices in the app to review your choice.
Prepaid access and anonymous activity — upcoming 2.0.0
The Apple app update is available for testing and is not yet the public App Store release. It removes advertising and adds optional 15-minute, 1-hour and 24-hour Full Access passes alongside subscriptions. These passes do not renew automatically and are not available in version 1.0.0.
A pass starts after purchase and runs continuously, including while you are away. Additional passes add time. An active subscription preserves prepaid time until the subscription ends. Restore Purchases recovers remaining time from Apple’s purchase history; it does not restart an expired pass.
Anonymous app, learning, game and purchase activity helps us understand usage by approximate network location and app surface. Events are queued locally and sent in batches; offline use may appear later. Reports contain no user or device identifiers, answers or recordings and are separate from optional diagnostics. For a technical problem, include your LingoRove version, device, what you were doing and roughly when it happened. Share screenshots only if you are comfortable with their contents. Never send passwords or payment details.
Getting started
LingoRove is now available on the App Store. Android is coming soon.
Use Help / Getting Started in the app for the guided tour. In Select, choose your primary language, learning languages and lesson packs. Download the content and compatible system voices before learning offline.
Your selected packs make up your Learn list. An applied Explore filter narrows that list; clear the filter in Lesson Lists to return to the full selection.
A word or explanation looks wrong
Open the concept’s translation details to make a personal correction or submit a language report. Include the language, expression and context so we can review the intended meaning. Reports are reviewed on a best-effort basis.
Translations, explanations and romanization may be assisted by AI and can contain mistakes or regional differences. Check important meanings with a teacher, native speaker or trusted dictionary.
Subscriptions and Full Access
An active subscription unlocks Full Access and the Starter Pack remains free. Premium selections remain saved after access ends.
Use Restore Purchases in the app if your subscription is not recognised. On Apple devices, manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account; Apple handles billing and refund requests. On Android, use the Google account that made the purchase and manage or cancel the subscription through Google Play. Purchase options depend on platform availability.

Background music
Save a compatible audio file to Files, then use Select → Music → Imported Music → Import. Preview a track and select it for your lessons. Check the source’s licence before downloading or sharing music.
Apple Music playlists are unavailable as background music while CarPlay is connected. Use imported music for CarPlay lessons.
Privacy and diagnostics
Diagnostics are off by default. If you enable them in Settings, they run for at most 15 minutes; changing the detail level does not extend that time. You can stop them sooner, and a cold start leaves them off. Screenshot attachment is a separate choice. You do not need to enable diagnostics to email support or submit a language report.
Language reports and optional diagnostics can be associated with an app installation. This lets us authenticate submissions, limit abuse and investigate related events; it does not require your name or email address. Reports are not anonymous. If you email us, we retain your sender address so we can reply.
For access or deletion requests, email support@lingorove.org with a report receipt, approximate date or other context. Do not send passwords, security credentials or payment details. Removing a referral or turning diagnostics off does not automatically erase previously submitted records.
